Client:

A newly formed project team in a large financial services firm

Challenge:

The team faced challenges in collaborating effectively due to differences in work organization, communication preferences, and decision-making styles.

Solution:

We conducted a facilitated team workshop that included:

  • Myers Briggs Type Indicator Personality assessments to help team members understand each other's preferences in communication, information processing (details vs. big-picture thinking), decision-making and approach to organizing and completing their work.
  • Interactive activities to explore how individual styles influenced team dynamics.
  • Action planning to establish shared norms and strategies for smoother collaboration.

Outcome:

The team gained a deeper understanding of their collective strengths and differences. Post-workshop surveys revealed improved collaboration, reduced misunderstandings, and a unified approach to organizing their work and making decisions.
